MLK Racial Equity Mural

Emida Roller and community

Hale YMCA, 9 Technology Park Dr, Putnam, CT 06260

Painted by internationally known artist Emida Roller, this mural was revealed in 2022 at the Hale YMCA Youth and Family Center. "Teach Peace" was painted by RiseUP muralist Emida Roller and depicts Dr. Martin Luther King and local civil rights leaders Prudence Crandall and Sarah Harris.
